A note from our founder

Jen Robin, founder of life in general

A year ago this month I walked into a LA county office and submitted my paperwork for Life in Jeneral to be born. I decided after my old job as a Personal Assistant for 6 years, it was time to be my own boss & take a cue from my dad and make this world (or try to) a better place than I would leave it. It was then that the biggest leap of faith and trust in the universe that somehow my passion and idea of “changing the world” could come to life. I knew I loved making people happy, teaching them the true meaning that less really is more, and most importantly that being organized is at the core of EVERYTHING. But how do I make this a business? Who will hire me? Will I feel good at the end of each day knowing I might not have all the answers, but damn, I did my best. I just trusted my heart… and here we are. 35 team members, and a lot of happiness around me… Life in Jeneral (no pun intended 😉 has changed my life forever.

I’ve learned so much this year about business and that you really do have to work your ass off to follow your dreams. This year has been my biggest growth year personally as well as professionally, and I am learning to really love who I am becoming with all my heart. At 30, I can honestly say the best is yet to come.

I want to thank you all for believing in this dream of mine, and mostly for supporting me while we all figure this life out together.

I am so looking forward to 2016 and what’s to come….

Happy holidays to you all.

xx
